The first debate in the interclass series will be held next Wednesday between the Sophomores and Freshmen on the subject, "Resolved, That it is for the best interests of the United States to lend economic and financial aid to the European belligerents." This debate will consist of trials for the final Sophomore-Freshman debate to be held on December 15. Five minute speeches must be prepared. Six men will be retained on each team.
The Junior-Senior trials will be held on Thursday, at a time and place to be announced later. Ten-minute speeches must be prepared. All men who have not been on a University team which has taken part in a debate with Princeton or Yale are eligible to compete.
