The whole of the American section serving in the Vosges and Alsace has been cited in the Order of the Day for brilliant service. Such a citation automatically carries with it decoration with the "Croix de Guerre," which has already been conferred on two Harvard men in the section, H. D. Hale '13 and A. G. Carey '12. This section is under the command of Lovering Hill '10, and many of the drivers are Harvard men. It has entire charge of the work in that section.
