1919 ELECTS COMMITTEES TONIGHT

Hold Organization Meeting Followed by Speeches In Common Rooms.

The members of the Freshman class, living in the dormitories will hold meetings in the Common Rooms of the three Halls tonight at 6.45 o'clock.

The purpose of the meetings is to organize the House Committees. Speeches will be made by the head proctors, Dr. A. T. Davison '06, of Smith; Professor C. H. Mollwain '03, of Standish; and E. P. Kohler, of Gore. Temporary chairmen will be elected and the transaction of further business turned over to them.

Nominations will be in order tonight. During the week candidates may be nominated by petition signed by fifteen members of his dormitory. Petitions should be handed to the temporary chairman, and the election will take place next week.

In accordance with the rule by which the general control of Freshman affairs before the mid-year elections is in the hands of the Executive Committee of the Student Council, the following men have been already nominated as members of the House Committee of the several dormitories: Gore--H. C. Flower, Jr., R. C. Clement, C. W. Greenough; Standish--A. Perkins, M. Phinney, E. W. Pervere; Smith--C. D. Murray, W. B. Felton, S. R. Dunham, Jr.
