Professor William Ernest Hocking '01, of the Department of Philosophy, will deliver the first of a series of lectures before the Private School Association at 585 Boylston street, Boston, this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. Professor Hocking's subject will be "The Biological vs. the Sociological Basis of Personality."

Professor Hocking will deliver the entire series of lectures before the Association this year, instead of a series of addresses by different speakers, as in former years.
