SIGNAL DRILL FOR UNIVERSITY

Yesterday morning's rain had so slowed up the Stadium Field that the University eleven's practice was confined solely to a simple signal drill. A long blackboard talk on the Brown and Yale-Princeton games was the chief feature of the day's work.

With the exception of R. C. Curtis and Rollins, who were given a rest, the entire squad was out in uniform. The condition of the men is of the best, and it is now certain that the team's chances against Yale will not be impaired by the bug-a-boo of the injured list.

H. F. Corbett '11, halfback in 1908, 1909, 1910 has travelled from Portland, Oregon, to help administer the finishing touches to the team's development. Other recruits to the list of coaches are expected today and tomorrow.

Taylor did not appear in the regular line-up yesterday, as he was given a rest from the Brown game.
