The Smith Halls football team will meet Gore Hall in the first game for the interdormitory football championship on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. These teams practised yesterday afternoon, a signal drill and dummy scrimmage being held.
According to the new arrangement this year, a team from each of the three dormitories will compete in a challenge series of games to be played for possession of the Crosby Football Cup, which is now held by Gore Hall. Any man in a dormitory may play on his team, regardless of whether or not he has been out for practice this fall. Men who played on the first squad but did not win their numerals last Saturday will also be eligible to play today, provided there are vacant positions not already filled.
The winner of this afternoon's game will compete with the Standish team on Thursday for the interdormitory championship. In case of a tie, the game will be re-played.
