The chess match with Brown has been called off because no satisfactory arrangements could be made for bringing the Brown team to Cambridge. On Monday the elimination trials for the Yale meet will commence and by the end of next week ten regular players and two substitutes will be picked to represent the University against the Yale team in the match which will be held a week from tonight.
