The Faculty Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports has a rule that "no athletic contest shall take place on Soldiers Field until after three o'clock on Saturdays," except that football games may begin at two o'clock after November 1. The game with Pennsylvania State, the latter part of which was played in complete darkness, clearly pointed to the urgent need of an amendment to this rule whereby at least the last two games played in October may begin at 2 o'clock.
