Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
In what was easily the stiffest workout for some time, the University football squad spent yesterday afternoon's practice in a long, fierce, and hard-fought scrimmage, in which practically every man on the first squad got an opportunity to play.
A little kicking and passing of the ball was the only preliminary work allowed, and the men had been on the field for only a few minutes when Team A was lined up against the seconds for the start of the long scrimmage.
Some notable changes appeared in the make-up of Team A. Harte, Parson, Bigelow, Watson, and McKinlock were shifted to Team B, with the result that Coolidge played at Team A left end, R. C. Curtis at left tackle, Caner at right tackle, Willcox at quarter, and Enwright in the backfield. Furthermore, having fully recovered from his lame ankle, Cowen displaced Duncan at left guard. Together with Dadmun, Cowen completes a very formidable centre of the line, for both men are large, heavy, and strong.
The second team started the scrim- mage with a rush, but found the University defense too strong for consistent ground-gaining. The crimson eleven, however, proved to possess a powerful attack, and during the course of the play scored four touchdowns and a dropkick. Enwright was the first man to score, for when the seconds had held the regulars twice on their one-yard line, he took the ball and managed to drive his way through between the goal-posts for a touchdown, although the stubborn resistence offered by Captain Selden's team was such that the ball was placed just barely over the line. End runs contributed the other three touchdowns, Captain Mahan running 20 yards for the first, Harte carrying the ball on the second, and Lyman scoring the third on the end-around play. The other three points to the 27 to 0 score were added when Robinson dropped back to the 30 yard line and made a neat drop-kick.
Enwright Wrenched Knee.
The only mishap of the hard play occurred when Enwright wrenched his knee, an injury which will probably keep him out of the game for some time. Gilman and Weatherhead were out in their playing clothes again, but neither participated in the scrimmage. Miller, Woodruff, and Murray have been dropped to the second team squad.
At the start of the afternoon's work, the opposing teams lined up as follows:
