Lacrosse Squad Starts Season

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fall practice of the University lacrosse squad will begin this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. The practice will continue for several weeks and a scrub series will then be held.

The squad will start minus nine of the regular players of last year's championship team. Upperclassmen will have an excellent opportunity to gain a good knowledge of the game by coming out this fall. Every year the team takes several trips including one long trip in the spring recess when Annapolis, Johns Hopkins, and several Pennsylvania college teams are played. This season the game with Yale will be played at Cambridge. Freshmen are particularly urged to practice with the University squad this fall and take part in the scrub series.
