Chess Candidates Meet Tonight

The Chess Club will hold a meeting for all candidates for the University and Freshman chess teams in the Assembly Room of the Union this evening at 7.30 o'clock. The year's plans will be outlined and the manner of running the competition explained. All members of the University are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served and a simultaneous exhibition of chess will take place at the same time.

The schedule of the University chess team for this fall is as follows:

October 15.--Virginia.

October 22.--Cornell.

October 29.--M. I. T.

November 5.--Princeton.

November 9.--M. I. T.

November 12.--Brown.

November 19.--Yale.

November 26.--M. I. T.
