The competition for plays for the Dramatic Club's fall production which will take place on December 14, 16, and 17, will end this evening, when all manuscripts must be handed in to P. F. Reniers '16 at 60 Mt. Auburn street before 6 o'clock. All members of the University are eligible for the competition. The plays will be judged by a committee of three persons well known in the theatrical world and Professor G. P. Baker '87 will have charge of the judging. The play chosen will be announced November 15 when the first reading will take place. The competition offers an unusual chance for a playwright to have his work produced in an exceptionally excellent way and in the event of a successful play being selected, the club will probably go to some other city during the Christmas recess. The first trials for acting parts will be held November 16. Candidates for the stage and publicity management will be called out shortly before.
