BLANCHARD CHOSEN TO HEAD STUDENT COUNCIL

Other Officers Elected and Executive Committee Appointed at First Meeting of Year.

The Student Council held the first meeting of the year last night in the Trophy Room of the Union. Wells Blanchard '16, of Concord; William John Bingham '16, of Methuen; and Henry Ludwig Flood Kreger '16, of Fairfield, Me., were elected president, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer, respectively.

The following men were elected to the Executive Committee of the Student Council: Norman Elwell Burbidge '17, of Spokane, Wash.; Charles Allerton Coolidge, Jr., '17, of Boston; David Percy Morgan, Jr., '16, of New York, N. Y.; Richard Norris Williams, 2d., '16, of Cambridge. The officers of the Student Council are ex-officio members of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee passed the following resolution: "Attention is called to the fact that before they become effective, all appointments of managers of athletic teams must be approved by the Executive Committee of the Student Council."
