Sixth Round of Singles Scheduled to be Completed This Afternoon.

All matches in the fifth round of the singles and the first round of the doubles were played off yesterday afternoon. Play in the singles only will be continued today on Jarvis Field; no doubles matches are scheduled. Men must post their scores on the chart provided for the purpose on Jarvis Field before 6 o'clock. Failure to do this will mean that both contestants will be defaulted.

Following are the results of yesterday's matches in the singles: W. D. D. Morgan '18 defeated D. Polasky 1L., 6-3, 6-3; R. Kennedy uC. defeated R. A. Newman 3L., 6-2, 6-0; D. K. Dunmore '18 defeated P. R. Ladd '16, 6-3, 6-8, 6-0; S. M. Stellwagen 4L. defeated C. A. Davis 3L., 6-0, 6-1; O. Williams 1G. defeated W. W. Rice '18, 6-0, 6-3.

Following are the results of yesterday's matches in the doubles: W. Rand '17 and R. C. Rand '19 defeated R. E. Moore 3L. and C. A. Davis 3L., 6-2, 6-4; H. R. Guild 17 and C. Jennings 1L. defeated R. A. Newman 3L. and H. Epstein 1G., 6-1, 7-5; L. W. Devereux '16 and C. F. Eton '16 defeated H. Fiske, Jr., '19 and R. Cobb '19, by default; E. O. Baker '17 and R. Baldwin '17 defeated W. W. Rice '18 and L. Jackson '19.

At 1.30 o'clock: O. Williams 1G. vs. R. Kennedy uC., E. B. Benjamin '18 vs. H. Talcott '18.

At 3 o'clock: W. D. D. Morgan '18 vs. S. M. Stellwagen 4L., the winners of the last two matches to play at 4 o'clock.

At 2 o'clock: W. Hugus 3L. vs. R. C. Rand '19.
