Fencers Get Under Way

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University and Freshman fencing squads reported yesterday for their first practice in Hemenway, and were given an initial drilling by Coach Leslabay and S. F. Damon '14, captain of the 1914 team. The prospects for the season are fairly bright, but more candidates are wanted. All men should report at the Gymnasium this afternoon at 4 o'clock.

To stimulate interest in the Freshman competition, a new cup has been offered, which will be awarded to the man who shows the greatest improvement during the year. Anyone may compete, as no experience is required.
