The Society of Printers, for the Study and Advancement of the Art of Printing, of Boston will hold its first meeting of the fall in the Widener Library, this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Society will dine at the Colonial Club after inspecting the building and will have as its guests, Professor A. C. Coolidge '87, director of the University Library; Mr. W. C. Lane '81, University librarian, and Mr. G. P. Winship '93, librarian of the Harry Elkins Widener special collection.
Professor Coolidge will describe the building, Mr. Lane will speak on the books in the collections owned by the University, and Mr. Winship will describe the Harry Elkins Widener collection. Mr. Winship will also show the rare and valuable books in the collection later in the evening to the members of the society.
