In placing a date-book for the use of the University where it can be conveniently consulted, the Union is performing a real service. It has been urged in fa for of Harvard that its multiplicity of interests satisfy every desire. This is mostly true. When a football mass meeting and a lecture on Old Sanskrit come on the same evening, each is attended by its particular coterie. But when two dramatic productions fall together, those who would like to see both must be deprived of one.

By consulting the date-book before scheduling any entertainment, difficulties of this nature will be easily remedied.
