Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
One of the most important pieces of work being done in the country today to obtain some means for the defense of the nation in case of emergency, is being carried on by the American Legion. This is an organization which attempts to enrol all men with military or technical experience who are willing to pledge themselves to military or auxiliary service in time of war. It is greatly desired that all men in the University who have attended any of the summer military camps, or who have ability in any kind of work which is necessary for the conduct of military operations, should communicate with the secretary of the Legion, 10 Bridge street, New York, N. Y., and should ally themselves with it. The dues are 25 cents annually, and the League button costs an additional 25 cents.
Enthusiastic Support Given.
The work so far has met with an enthusiastic response, for 392 members have pledged their cars for an automobile reserve corps, and other branches have received corresponding support. Any man who enrolls in the Legion now may resign at any time he sees fit, prior to a call to duty by the United States Government.
The Legion is backed up by influential men throughout the country. The following men constitute the council: Theodore Roosevelt '80, William H. Taft LL.D. '05, Elihu Root, LL.D. '07, ex-Secretary of State, J. M. Dickinson, ex-Secretary of War, H. L. Stimson '89, ex-Secretary of War, L. E. Wright LL.D. '13, ex-Secretary of War, G. vonL. Meyer '79, ex-Secretary of the Navy, T. H. Newberry, ex-Secretary of the Navy, and C. J. Bonaparte '71, ex-Secretary of the Navy.
