The present voluntary rowing season will last but three weeks, no rowing practice being held during the mid-year examination period. Freshmen and other less experienced men are urged to take advantage of the opportunity to receive individual instruction from Coach Brown at the Newell boathouse in the morning between the hours of 10 and 1, and candidates for both crews who work on the machines in the afternoon under the direction of Head Coach Wray are asked to report as soon after 3 o'clock as is possible. All candidates are expected to row on the machines at least twice a week.
