Madame Vandervelde's talk in the Union this evening on Belgian conditions offers an exceptional opportunity to obtain a first hand view of the consequences of the great European struggle. The suffering and patriotism of the Belgians is too well known to need comment but personal experiences are always interesting. Madame Vandervelde's work in behalf of her countrymen deserves recognition.
