New Lowell Institute Courses

Two new lecture courses at the Lowell Institute begin this week. This evening at 8 o'clock Professor Kuno Francke, of the University Faculty, will give the first of a course of six lectures on "Personality in German Literature." The lectures in the course will be given on Mondays and Thursdays.

Tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock Mr. Wilfred Ward, of Dorking, England, author of "The Life of Cardinal Newman" will start his series of six lectures on "The True Nature of Cardinal Newman's Genius," which will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays until completed. The sub-titles of the various talks will be: 1. Newman and the Critics: 2. The Unity of Newman's Work; 3. The Courses of Newman's Style; 4. Newman's Philosophy; 5. Personality in Apologetic; 6. Newman's Psychological Insight.
