Trials for Debating Team

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The trials for the University triangular debating teams will be held on Friday, February 19. The system for selecting the speakers will this year be somewhat different from that used formerly, as there will be successive trials for elimination. At the first trials, five-minute speeches will be required.

The debate for the Pasteur Medal will be held some time after the Freshman Triangular contest. The Pasteur Medal, which for a time was supposed to have been lost, is now on its way over from France. This prize is one given by the Baron de Coube for the best debate given on some contemporary subject in French politics.
