Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The University hockey team had a long drill in passing and shooting at the Arena yesterday afternoon followed by a brisk scrimmage with the second team which resulted in a 5 to 0 victory for the University. Coach Winsor laid great emphasis on the value of team-play and spent most of the hour endeavoring to perfect it.
For the first five minutes of play the second team played a strong aggressive game and kept the puck very largely in the University's territory. After six minutes of play Captain Claflin scored on a long drive past Stanton and the attack of the second team seemed to flag. Townsend shot two goals and Baldwin the remaining two for the University.
The team-play of the men is steadily improving and their accuracy in passing and shooting is much better than at the beginning of the season. Phillips did not practice yesterday but it is expected that he will be in shape for a light work-out before the game with Yale on Saturday.
