Col. Robert M. Thompson to Lecture at Speakers' Club Tuesday.

Colonel Robert M. Thompson will speak on "The Needs of Our Navy" at a special dinner of the Speakers' Club on Tuesday evening at 6.30 o'clock. Colonel Thompson is a graduate of Annapolis and was chairman of the American committee for the Olympic games in 1912. As president of the New York Athletic Club he is one of the leading promoters of amateur athletics in this country. He is chairman of the executive committee of the Navy League of the United States and has taken a patriotic interest in naval affairs. He received his title of colonel as a member of the staff of the governor of New Jersey.

Colonel Thompson will be accompanied by other members of the Navy League. The dinner will be open to members of the Speakers' Club and their guests.
