ALTER MEDICAL SCHOOL RULES

STRICT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR FUTURE GRADUATE STUDENTS.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Details of the new admission requirements for the Medical School which will apply to the class entering in September, 1915, have just been announced. In addition to holding a degree in arts and sciences, or having completed two years of college work with standing in the first third of his class, every candidate for admission will be required to have a reading knowledge of French or German, and such knowledge of physics, general and organic chemistry, and biology as is to be obtained from Physics B, Chemistry A and 2, and Zoology 1, with an additional half-course in a biological subject. The foregoing represent the minimum requirements; Physics C or I, Chemistry B, and 22, or 5, and Zoology 3 are recommended, and Chemistry 22 will probably be required in 1916. All requirements for admission must be satisfied before entrance.

Students who wish to be in a position to enter the Medical School in 1915 are urged to write at once to the Secretary, 240 Longwood avenue, Boston, stating in detail what courses they will have taken in all scientific subjects including those presented for admission to the College. If deficiencies are thus made known, the opportunities available for removing these by courses during the second half-year, or by summer courses will be pointed out.
