CURTIS GUILD '81 TO SPEAK HERE

Prominent Graduate Will Give Lecture Tomorrow Afternoon.

Curtis Guild '81, of Boston, will speak under the auspices of the Political Science Club in Emerson A tomorrow afternoon at 4.30 o'clock, on a subject to be announced later. Mr. Guild has had a very distinguished career. He served in the Spanish-American war as inspector-general of the 7th Army Corps and later as inspector-general of the Department of Havana. Mr. Guild held the office of lieutenant-governor of Massachusetts from 1902 to 1905, and that of governor from 1906 to 1909. In 1910 he was appointed Special Ambassador to Mexico, and from 1911 to 1913 was United States Ambassador to Russia. The lecture tomorrow will be open to all members of the University.
