The Harvard Union will tender a reception to members of the class of 1918 in the Living Room tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. This will be in the way of a preliminary rally for the new men and all are cordially invited. Dean Briggs will preside and there will be addresses by President Lowell, Major H. L. Higginson '55, Hon. William Cameron Forbes '92, Professor Roger I. Lee, and Dean Yeomans. The meeting will be open to all members of the University, but the special guests will be members of 1918.
The annual Phillips Brooks House reception to Freshmen will be held on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. This event is one of the best opportunities given the incoming class for the purpose of promoting acquaintances among its members. The reception will be in formal and every man in 1918 is cordially invited to be present. There will be speeches by undergraduate and Faculty members of the Phillips Brooks House Association. The Glee Club quartet will furnish the music of the occasion, and light refreshments will be served.
