Tennis as an organized sport and as a game universally played by men in the University is on the ascendancy. The playing of the University tennis team has been characterized by a brilliancy of which we may well be proud. The high standard of the team's playing should be maintained, and with this in view it is encouraging to see organized tennis among the Freshmen. Recognition of merit is now assured in the awarding of tennis "numerals" to members of a Freshman tennis team.
