Those who feared that the slump of the University baseball team was incurable cannot hold to that belief in view of the victory over Brown Saturday. As the CRIMSON said last Thursday, the team has too much backbone and baseball ability to relish a protracted descent on the toboggan. In the game with Brown it came out of the slump splendidly and once again displayed championship ability. This should encourage the supporters of the team, who, because of the recent showing have been lax in attendance at the recent games, to renew and increase their interest in the team. Now that the slump in hitting, fielding and pitching seems safely over, the slump in support should end, too.
