SCHOOL TENNIS TOURNEY TO BEGIN

Entries for Harvard Meet Close Tonight. One New Team on List.

The twenty-fourth annual Harvard Interscholastic tennis tournament will begin at Jarvis Field tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock and will be continued on the same afternoon and on Monday at 2.30.

The entries have been slow in coming in, but it is expected that several more schools will be heard from during the day. Among those already received are St. Mark's Lowell High School, and Milton High School. The entries must be in the hands of Manager R. E. Allen '15, 48 Hampden Hall, by 8 o'clock tonight and should be accompanied by $1 entrances fee for every player and $5 annual dues for each school.

Seconds; Trials Continued.

The following matches in the trials for the second tennis team will be played at Jarvis Field this afternoon: At 2.15-W. Faulkner '14 vs. W. Campbell '16, R. H. Kettell '14 vs. D. Kimball '15, A. S. Peabody '16 vs. D. B. Buffum '14, R. Morris '14 vs. C. W. Curtis '14, A. Walter '14 vs. F. S. Hyde '16, D. Josephs '15 vs. C. A. Herter '15, E. F. A. Morgan '15 vs. G. G. Emmons '16. At 4.15-W. B. Kann '16 vs. C. J. North '14, T. J. D. Fuller '15 vs. H. Wainwright '15, H. B. Briggs '15 vs. G. Bettle '14, C. Judson '14 vs. W. B. Nichols '16, P. Lowry '16 vs. A. L. Butler '15, H. A. Scranton '16 vs. G. F. Plimpton '14. All men scheduled to play must be on hand on time or notify their opponents or the management. Otherwise, the match will be forfeited.

The following players who have been retained for the 1917 tennis team, should report at Jarvis Field today at 3.30 o'clock: R. Batdwin, R. Z. Crane, J. E. Gale, G. W. Hartwell, H. Morgan. W. Rand. T. W. Whithall, and W. P. White house.
