The University golf team opened its spring season yesterday afternoon with a six-man team match with the Worchester Golf Club, the result being a 3-3 tie. The individual matches resulted as follows: Allis (H.) defeated Hoyt (W.), Lawrence (W.) defeated Sargent (H.), Purves (W.) defeated Simons (H.), Farrington (W.) defeated Heyburn (H.), Hubbell (H.) defeated Chase (W.), Griffitts (H.) defeated Wellington (W.).
