The competition for advertising manager of the University Register, which is a remunerative office, will begin this evening, and will be open only to Freshmen. This will afford an excellent business training and will especially benefit men who have a similar line of work in view after college. The work will consist wholly of securing advertisements and showing knowledge necessary to supervise the advertising department. All Freshmen who are interested in this work should report to F. P. Magoun, Jr., '16, 60 Mt. Auburn street this evening at 7 o'clock when the details and requirements of the competition will be outlined. No previous experience is necessary.
