The University second baseball team will meet the strong Newton High School Club on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The Seconds have rounded into good form during the last two weeks and now appear to be going in fine style. Captain M. B. Phillips '15 has not decided which pitcher will start against the Newtonians this afternoon, but either Whitney, who pitched so well against Pomfret last week, or Macdonald will hurl.
The Newton High School nine is School nine is strong, although weakened by the recent loss of a good pitcher.
The Seconds will probably line up as follows: Coolidge, l.f.; Harvey, 2b.; Edgerton, Mason or Cartmel, s.s.; Phillips, 3b.; West or Safford, c.; Clark, c.f.; Devereux, r.f.; O'Day, 1b.; Whitney, Macdonald or Fitzgibbons, p.
