Although Cornell has a habit of making things decidedly unpleasant for opposing oarsmen, the University welcomes the coming of the Cornell crews to the Charles for their races with the University and Freshman eights today.
Cornell is always so powerful on the water that should the University crews triumph, and their excellent condition makes such an outcome not improbable, a dangerous over-confidence would be almost sure to develop, which might prove fatal in the final race with Yale. However, such a result is well worth chancing.
Whatever the outcome may be, we know that the University and Freshman crews will row their best on the Charles today.
