The second University baseball team defeated Groton 3 to 2 at Groton Saturday afternoon. The second team scored all its runs in the second inning on an error by Boyd, two sacrifice flies, a hit, a pass, and two singles. Groton was held scoreless until the sixth, when Cunningham weakened and allowed 2 runs, Fitzgibbons finishing the game.
