NOTABLE SPEAKERS TO BE PRESENT AT FORTY-FIRST ANNIVERSARY.

The CRIMSON will celebrate its forty first anniversary with the annual dinner to be held in the Union this evening at 7 o'clock. About 130 guests will be present, among them being President Lowell; Professor R. B. Merriman '96; Dean W. W. Fenn '84; Dean E. F. Gay; Chester S. Lord, who for 32 years was managing editor of the New York Sun; Howard Elliott '81; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New York. New Haven and Hartford R. R.; representatives from the Cornell Daily Sun, the Yale News, and The Tech.; and about 50 Harvard undergraduates. Guests will assemble in the Crimson Sanctum in the Union at 7 o'clock.

A. C. Smith '14, will act as toastmaster and introduce the following speakers. "Of Matters Local," Professor R. B. Merriman '96; "The Newspapers," Chester S. Lord; "Ex-Officio," President Lowell; "The Age," Howard Elliott '81. R. C. Benchley '12 will also speak. A double quartet from the Glee Club will render selections.
