The University golf team played its third tie match of the season with the Agawam Hunt Club of Providence yesterday afternoon. Captain E. P. Allis '15 was defeated for the first time this season. S. P. Griffitts '15 made the low score of the match bringing in a 39 over the nine-hole course. Following is the result of each man's play: R. H. Hubbey (A.) defeated E. P. Allis (H.) 2-1; F. Sargent (H.) defeated H. H. Davenport (A.) 4-3; H. Fairchild (A.) defeated J. G. Heyburn (H.) 5-4; H. Compton (A.) defeated P. W. Simons (H.) 2-1; S. P. Griffitts (H.) defeated H. F. MacColl (A.) 2-1; J. W. Hubbell (H.) defeated W. M. P. Macdonald (A.) 1 up, 19 holes.
