The University tennis team defeated Cornell yesterday on the courts of the Longwood Tennis Club, winning all six matches. The visitors furnished stronger opposition than any of the teams met previously and brought out much skillful playing. One of the most spectacular of the matches was won by Armstrong and Washburn over Fisher and Hunter, 6-4, 6-4.

Singles--Williams defeated Benton, 6-2, 6-1; Armstrong defeated Hunter, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1; Whitney defeated Fisher, 6-4, 6-1; Washburn defeated Bowers, 7-5, 6-3. Doubles--Williams and Whitney defeated Benton and Bowers, 6-4, 6-3; Washburn and Armstrong defeated Fisher and Hunter, 6-4, 6-4.
