VERMONT ON SCHEDULE TODAY

RECORD OF VISITING TEAM JUSTIFIES PREDICTION OF A VICTORY.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

If the weather gives the teams a chance; the Vermont baseball nine will meet the University team on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Today's game should not prove a very hard one for Harvard, for Vermont has won only four games out of 11 played. The victories, in addition, have not been gained over strong teams, Trinity, North Carolina, Mt. St. Mary, and Colby being its victims, the latter losing twice. Vermont has been defeated by Virginia. Catholic University, Penn State, Dartmouth, and two unimportant teams.

Mahan, who held Colby, safe last Thursday, will be in the box again today with Waterman catching.

The batting orders: HARVARD.  VERMONT. Mahan, p.  s.s., Maiden Wingate, s.s.  lb., Berry. Clark, 2b.  c., Mayforth Nash, 1b.  c.f., Fitzpatrick Ayres, 3b.  2b., Frazer Gannett r.f.  l.f. Gallagher Milholland, cf.  r.f., Lyons Hardwick, l.f.  3b., Lenathan Waterman, c.  p., Gilbert or Spear
