3 TO 1 IN THIRD, THEN RAIN

GAME WITH FORDHAM TO BE PLAYED TODAY, IF WEATHER CONCURS.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The baseball game yesterday afternoon between the University team and Fordham was called off in the middle of the third inning on account of rain. The score at the time was 3 to 1 in favor of the visitors. Frye pitched for the University team and was hit rather freely, while Walsh who was in the box for the visitors was inclined to be wild. He forced in the only run which was credited to Harvard.

If weather conditions permit, the game will be played at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Hitchcock will probably pitch for Harvard while Walsh will repeat for Fordham.
