In the qualifying round of the University championship golf tournament played yesterday afternoon at the Oakley Country Club, captain E. P. Allis '15 and C. S. Weeks '15 tied with a total of 83 for the medal given to the man qualifying with the lowest score. Twenty-six men competed in the day's play which is the largest field in the history of the event.
The scores of those qualifying were: E. P. Allis '15, 83; C. S. Weeks '15, 83; S. P. Griffitts '15, 84; P. F. Schofield '16, 86; F. Sargent '14, 38; J. G. Heyburn '16, 90; C. H. Kendall '16, 90; H. K. Caner, Jr., '15, 90; H. Goodspeed '16, 92; F. C. Carleton '16, 93; J. W. Hubbell '17, 94; F. I. Amory, Jr., '17, 97; P. W. Simons '16, 97; G. C. Ludlow '15, 98; L. Clark '16, 98.
