The Freshman baseball team defeated Lowell High School on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon by the score of 5 to 4. Except for the disastrous second inning, when Lowell bunched five hits for the total of four runs, Garritt had the visitors at his mercy. The work of Abbot, the 1917 second baseman, featured the game.

The score by innings:   1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9--R. H. E. L. H. S.,  0  4  0  0  0  0  0  0  0--4 7 2 1917,  2  0  0  1  1  1  0  0  x--5 9 5
