Football Men not in Earnest

By C. E. Brickley .

Judging from the small number of candidates reporting, it is evident that those who expect to try for the 1914 football team are not taking spring practice seriously. We must have a great many more men come out if the practice is to count for anything, and those who do report must report every day except Saturday at 4 o'clock, unless excused beforehand. The showing so far has been discouraging and does not give evidence of much enthusiasm for football among prospective candidates for next fall's team. There should be at least 50 or 60 men on the field today at 4 o'clock.
