FIRST CONTEST FOR POSITIONS ON UNIVERSITY TEAM HELD TODAY.

Trials for the University tennis team will be held this afternoon on Jarvis Field. On arriving at the Field contestants should place a check against their names on a list which will be posted, so that their opponents may know whether they are present. The results of all matches must be left at the Field.

Today's schedule is as follows: At 2.15--Hastings vs. Wooldredge, Morgan vs. Scranton, Morris vs. Williams, Kimball vs. Kahn, Emmons vs. Lowry, Butler vs. Wainwright, Hunt vs. L. Curtis, Josephs vs. Richards.

At 4.15--Peabody vs. Buffum, Campbell vs. Faulkner, Fuller vs. Nichols, Woods vs. Sears, Plimpton vs. Briggs, North vs. Holmes, C. Curtis vs. Kettell, Herter vs. Judson.

Freshmen Also Report.

All candidates for the Freshman tennis team should report to J. S. Brown '17 at Jarvis Field this afternoon between 3.30 and 4.30 o'clock.
