The long delayed Territorial Club booklet has at last appeared. The final production is well worth the trouble which it has necessitated, and much credit is due those who have persevered to the accomplishment of the undertaking. Sufficiently compact to be easily read through, while at the same time covering every important undergraduate interest, the volume is well adapted to serve its purpose of representing Harvard from a strictly undergraduate point of view. Attractive in general appearance, well illustrated, and with excellent reviews of all student activities from the pens of those undergraduates best qualified to discuss them, the book is well worth possession by every graduate and undergraduate.
The cost of publishing the volume has been partially borne by pledges from Harvard Clubs. This sum, however, is not sufficient to cover the total cost of the publication and distribution of the book throughout the schools and distant portions of the country where Harvard is at present hardly more than a name. For the booklet to fulfill the hopes of its publishers, it should be in the hands of the sub-Freshmen well before the June examinations. To accomplish this purpose enough money must be raised from the sale of a portion of the present edition to ensure the distribution of the remainder. Purchase of the books now on sale is not only worth while in itself, but only thus can the best results from this ambitious undertaking of the Territorial Clubs be attained.
