Yesterday afternoon during a strenuous practice despite the unfavorable weather conditions University crews A and B had two short races of one-half mile each. The two boats divided honors as crew B came out victorious in the first race and A won the second. In order to find the best coxswain among the three retained on the University squad the men will rotate for periods of about a week each among the three University boats. At present H. L. F. Kreger '16 is coxswain on crew A. L. M. Sargent '16 on crew B, and H. Gallaher '15 on crew C.
