Yesterday afternoon during a strenuous practice despite the unfavorable weather conditions University crews A and B had two short races of one-half mile each. The two boats divided honors as crew B came out victorious in the first race and A won the second. In order to find the best coxswain among the three retained on the University squad the men will rotate for periods of about a week each among the three University boats. At present H. L. F.
