Spring Football Practice Over

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Spring football practice ended with a game between the "Bricks" and the "Swigs" yesterday afternoon, the "Swigs" winning by the score of 14 to 6. The muddiness of the field made fast playing impossible but there were several long runs. Swigert made the first touchdown after carrying the ball 40 yards and Coolidge the second after a 90-yard run. McKinlock kicked both goals. In the third quarter Dort made forty yards on a forward pass and Brennan carried the ball across for the "Bricks" only touchdown. Weatherhead failed to kick the goal. Captain Brickley played for only a short time, taking Pennock's place at fullback in order to try a few line plunges.
