The results of yesterday's matches in the trials for the University golf team were as follows: F. Sargent '14 defeated G. W. Aldridge, Jr., '17; E. P. Allis '15 defeated J. W. Hubbell '17; F. C. Carleton '16 defeated R. B. Southgate '15, and P. W. Simons '16 defeated H. De Ford, Jr., '15 (1 up, 19 holes).
The following matches have been scheduled for this afternoon: At 2 o'clock--E. P. Allis '15 vs. C. H. Kendall '16; H. De Ford, Jr., '15 vs. S. P. Griffitts '15; F. I. Amory, Jr., '17 vs. G. N. Richard '14; H. K. Caner, Jr., '15 vs. W. Rand '17, and B. J. Frenkel '15 vs. H. Goodspeed '16. At 3 o'clock--F. Sargent '14 vs. J. W. Hubbell '17, and G. C. Ludlow '15 vs. B. Duer '15.
