The Freshman association football team will play its first game of the season with the Svea seconds, a Swedish team from Prospect Union, on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Due to the bad weather conditions early in the season, the Freshman team was not called out until three weeks ago, but since that time good progress has been made under the direction of Coach W. E. Quinby '14 and F. G. O'Neill '16. Practically all the men are inexperienced with the exception of Captain J. W. Feeney and W. Sturgis, who both played at Andover last year.

The 1917 line-up will be as follows: g., Feeney; r.f.b., Darrow; l.f.b., Thurber; r.h.b., Means; c.h.b., Sturgis; l.h.b., Bean; r.o.f., Mantel; r.i.f., Smiley; c.f., Rogers; l.i.f., Bates; l.o.f., Bullard.
