The University association football team defeated the Clinton Club at Clinton last Saturday by the score of 5 goals to 1 in their last practice game before meeting Cornell next Thursday.

The playing of the team against Clinton was very encouraging although the heaviness of the field prevented very much team-work or fast playing. Baker, Jennings and Weld did all the scoring for the University, one goal coming as the result of a corner kick.

The University lined up as follows: S. B. Nichols '15; r.f.b., J. M. Kingman '15; l.f.b., T. J. Hudner, '15; r.h.b., F. C. Grant '14; c.h.b., H. G. Francke '14; l.h.b., D. F. Fenn '15; r.c.f., P. H. Smart '14; r.i.f., J. C. Jennings '15; c.f., J. N. Baker '15; l.i.f., D. G. Ricketeon, '16; l.o.f., W. W. Weld '16.
